Help for homeowners and businesses who are looking for a quality service provider now have a tool to find one with the launch of, Nexstar Select Service® certification program. This program identifies a select few plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical service providers across North America as standouts among their peers for superior customer service, workmanship and operations. The program is designed to help homeowners and businesses connect quicker and easier with quality service providers.

It’s not easy to obtain Nexstar Select Service certification. Each year, Nexstar conducts a series of independent surveys that measure customer satisfaction, financial stability and employee enthusiasm with their jobs and employer. Their surveys extensively reach actual customers and employees to obtain a realistic picture of a service provider’s performance. To even be considered for certification, service providers must score in the upper half of all three categories of which more than 300 independent businesses participate. In addition, Nexstar Select Service certification requires these independent companies to subscribe to a code of ethics, and a customer-oriented operations model.
