Replacing Your Water Heater? New Regulations Could Be Costing You
May, 13th, 2015
Have you been considering replacing your hot water heater? Maybe it’s broken down one too many times, it’s not heating your water efficiently, or it just seems like it’s time. Before you pick out the replacement, though, keep in mind that the United States Government recently unveiled new regulations governing them… and it could mean more money out of your pocket.
Water heaters made after April 16, 2015 must meet a host of new qualifications, which involve more complicated installation procedures, larger units… and potentially quite a bit more money out of your pocket. You can see a longer list of the new regulations on our water heaters page here.
Corley still has units made before the cutoff date that we are happy to install for you, but we’re running out fast! If you wait to replace until all those models are gone, you may be forced to go with a tankless model. We’re big fans of the tankless models, too, but we don’t like the idea of the choice being taken away from you.
Now’s the time to jump on those models we still have in stock! Give us a call at (864) 517 – 1251 or contact us online using the form on our new water heater regulations page! Corley has years of knowledge and experience when it comes to installation, replacement, and repair of water heaters in Greenville, South Carolina. We’d be happy to talk with you about your options and let you know what we can do to get you that replacement… without costing you an arm and a leg.
